Provision 88 Food Ministry is a food pantry that offers a true shopping experience every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 AM to 1:45 PM. Customers can shop for food and clothing. We are a USDA Distribution site. This Institution is an equal opportunity provider.
Food Distribution

Provision 88 offers a self-service shopping experience for all customers, allowing them to select the food they want and need. In 2024, Provision 88 served approximately 23,000 people—one-third of which were children—and distributed over 400,000 pounds of food through the pantry..
Clothing Closet
Every Tuesday & Thursday (10 AM-1:45 PM)
The clothing closet is another self-serve, shopping-style feature of Provision 88. Each household member represented has the opportunity to choose a new outfit based on their size and personal style preferences. In 2024, more than 20,000 people were clothed through this ministry.
Prayer
Every Tuesday & Thursday (10 AM-1:45 PM)
The most important part of Provision 88 is the prayer room. Every customer who comes through has the opportunity to receive individual prayer from our prayer team. In 2024 alone, at least 37 people gave their lives to Christ, and many more experienced healing and breakthroughs.
Meet Our Director
Our director, Alan Decker, has been faithfully serving at Provision 88 for five years, with the last four as director. He has a genuine heart for helping others, which is evident in his tireless efforts to ensure Provision 88 operates at its fullest potential. With a background in human resources, Alan brings exceptional leadership and relational skills to his role. He’s a longtime fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and enjoys playing golf in his free time. Most importantly, Alan loves the Lord with
all his heart. His ultimate desire for everyone who visits Provision 88 is that they experience the love of Jesus through our volunteers and come to know Him as their personal Lord and Savior.
